Book Lovers Literary Series:  Romance
Wednesday, February 8
6:30-8:30 p.m.
$36 per person, tax and tip included

What better month to celebrate the genre of romance?  Romance novelists have been inspiring us with tales of love, passion and commitment since the late 1700s.  One of the earliest, and still best loved, is Jane Austen.  Georgette Heyer is another British novelist whose historical romances have been popular since 1920.  More recent authors include Jude Devereaux, Nora Roberts, Julie Garwood, Nicholas Sparks, and Diana Gabaldon.  Share your love of romance novels over a full afternoon tea with others who also love this genre.  Bring information to share about your favorite romance author and an excerpt to read aloud (no more than two minutes please).  What a perfect opportunity to learn about new authors, and meet and mingle with others who share your passion.
"True love is rare, and it's the only thing that gives life real meaning"

- from Message in a Bottle by Nicholas Sparks.
