Instructions
Brew our Charleston Green tea in the boiling water using our hot brew method, according to the steep time on the package. Let the tea cool completely on the counter before chilling in the refrigerator. For cold brew method: place loose leaf tea in infuser or directly in the filtered water of pitcher or container. Chill in refrigerator overnight. Remove tea bag/infuser or strain tea leaves (if necessary) the next morning.
Using a small saucepan, heat 1 cup water until boiling. Once at a boil, turn off heat and mix brown sugar (or coconut sugar) in the water until the sugar is dissolved.
Let the syrup cool completely on the counter before serving or chilling in the refrigerator.
Serve the tea with simple syrup on the side for guest's preferred sweetness.
